Naolin is an Archtamer and a hermit who lives by the Amethyst Barrens in Tucma. Octlana describes Naolin as "the only one crazy enough to live in this wasteland." Some say he has gone insane. He has "disciples" and stands in opposition to the Bandits in the Corrupted Badlands.

Story

Naolin is first encountered at his home in the Amethyst Barrens, during the quest Shipwrecked in Tucma!. He assists the player in helping the crew of the Narwhal and helps them get to Quetzal. He later battles the player in the Xolot Reservoir to test their skill before they leave Tucma.
